Default Buying OBC

I can call carnival and can have $$$ put on my S&S account before I sail, correct? Is this charge considered a cash advance on your credit card statement? Is any remaining balance in your S&S account at debarkation credited back to your credit card or is it given back as cash, check?

I dont think its considered a cash advance. You can actually buy Fun Dollars online. In the address lines where it says to ship you put your booking number in the first line and your cabin number on the second line. I believe they give you a check for the remaning amount unspent.

Hmmm...that's a good idea - another way of paying ahead - I'm going to look into it - thanks.

Would putting say, $5000 of OBC in my S&S account raise any red flags? The $50 I get in cash back I could use to buy the soda cards with

What is a 'typical' S&S balance at the end of a cruise?

I wouldn't put that much on there, unless you are going to pay for a lot of people.

I guess it depends on how many in your party.

That is also the answer to how much is the usual S&S card.
