Default leaving on 9/2 - first time on Conquest

Ok,

We're headed out on Sunday. Any last minute parting words regarding the Conquest?? We have an oceanview room on the main deck located midship.

Worth dining at The Point??

How's the afternoon tea???

And the Chocolate Buffet??? I had never heard of this wonderful phenomenon (choc. buffet), and when I told a co-worker there was supposed to be one...her reply was, and I quote..."Shut up! You are taking pictures, right?" So....I'm excited to see (and eat) for myself.

We're doing the Carnival Sandals excursion in Montego Bay, a private Stingray City thing in Grand Cayman, and trying to pick a nice, but not crowded beach with some amenities in Cozumel.

Ok, I've rambled on enough, can you tell I'm ready to go???

Thoughts please.....

Thanks,
Tara

I always go to afternoon tea. I loved it. A very nice quiet lovely break. Tea with little snacks/desserts and usually classical music. sometime someone playing the piano.

Sounds like you got your excursions planned out. I see you made some great choices.

The Point Supper Club - Yes indeed At least once. Maybe twice, if its a special occasion.

Sorry, can't help on the Afternoon Tea and the Chocolate Buffet.

Your sailing on a great ship. Your going to have a blast.

Happy Sailing to all ;
David

Dont forget to check out the Fish and Chips place. I was telling my friend and trying to remember what all they served. The 3 of us girls are going next Fall 2008. I was just telling her all the stuff I heard about on the Conquest.

Im getting the espresso and the capuchino after dinner too, I love coffee drinks....and its free on the Conquest.

When you get back you will have to tell us all about it.

Have a wonderful time and definately try the Point! It makes for a very special evening! I missed the Chocolate Buffet and didn't even know about the afternoon tea until I read something here the other day, but if it is on the Conquest, it has to be good!

Happy Cruising!
