Friends Of Dorothy - Miracle Nov 7th

Are there any Friends of Dorothy out there traveling on Miracle Nov 7th?

"Friends of Dorothy" have had a meeting on every ship I've sailed in the last few years. Just watch the "Capers" for the time, and room where it's held. As I recall, the meeting is usually pretty early in the cruise.

I don't think that most people know what Friends of Dorothy and Friends of Bill are.

On our first cruise I thought it was a large group of people who had booked a cruise together, like a family reunion type of group, but friends instead of family. How nice I thought, that Dorothy and Bill had such good friends.

Then I found out (on this board) what the groups really were realy about.

Yes, that's true! I heard about a gentleman, who upon reading his "Caper", noticed a "Friends of Bill" meeting, so he assumed, as many do that it was just a friendly get together. He stopped at a bar on the way to the meeting room, and bought a martini to sip during the meeting! Upon entering the meeting room, he was politely informed what "Friends of Bill" was, and he promptly departed.

For those who don't know, Friends of Bill are for AA (alcoholics anonymous) meetings, and Friends of Dorothy are gay and lesbian meetings.

on the conquest last month they had both kinds of meetings daily, i know the dorothy meetings were around 6pm in one of the bars. Obviously bill chose not to have his meetings in the bar

should be easy to make friends because of these meetings. Have a great cruise!
