Also, its been a few years since I've been on a Carnival ship. Last time I was able to sneak a bottle of booze right in my checked luggage. I just padded it real good with clothes. Didn't put it in any listerine bottle...just left it right in the glass bottle.

I had no problems. And still managed to spend more on my sail and sign than I did for my cruise ticket.

Has the policy changed? Or is it still this easy to get it on board?

I will be on that cruise. Love to drink and gamble. I am putting a case of beer in my luggage. Same with the other 3 in our party. see you on board.

Very nice. I plan on bringing a bottle of crown on board. Do you know if they have any hold em tournaments on board?

The first time we did the Celebration, our table mate and his wife were totally wasted at dinner. We only saw the wife at dinner once and the husband twice at dinner. All the other times we'd cross paths, he was sh:t-faced. Getting off the ship they were carrying the limit in boxes, and his backback was sfuffed and making the clanking sounds of bottles.
