I bought our tickets on 9/10 for our cruise on 09/29 and don't understand what everyone is referring to as far as tags for your luggage or a sign and sail sheet. Could it this stuff is being sent to us via snail mail?
You need luggage tags for any luggage that you drop off at the pier to be delivered to your cabin. Usually, they are sent to you along with your documents, but since you were a "last minute" cruiser, you can either get tags on line, or better yet IMO, the porters at the pier can give you the correct ones when you drop your checked luggage. They have a list of all passengers, and what cabin they are assigned to, so they can, and will affix the proper tags.
Sign-and-Sail, is the name of the card given you when you check in at the pier. It allows you to sign for purchases aboard ship ie: drinks, bingo, stuff from the boitiques etc, and it also is your cabin key. Once again, you'll get it when you check in at the pier.
Have a great cruise!
Have your TA or PVP provide you with your booking #. That's all you need in addition to your personal ID to complete your sail and sign Fun Pass on the Carnival Website. Once you do that it will also allow you to print out luggage tags under my forms/documents.
Which ship are you sailing on the 29th? We are on Imagination!
