MikeNKim, you will love this ship! We cruised the Legend in June and loved every minute of being onboard. There will be plenty for all to do, even for your 15 year old.
Have a great cruise and March '08 will be here before you know it!

Yep, you'll love "Legend". I personally think the Spirit class ships, ie: Legend, are absolutely the best in the fleet! We're sailing "Legend on December 9th, so I'll try to leave her in good shape for you! We're also sailing "Inspiration" March 10th, so we'll probably see you in port!

Have a great cruise,

Ken

Kim,
What made you decide to switch? These are the exact two sailing we were looking at to. I am actually leaning a little towards the Legend. Carla

A few reasons actually.

We have been on Miracle which is Legends sister ship and loved it.

We prefer to cruise out of Tampa as it is about 10 15 mins to the port from the airport. We stay at Chase Suites which include breaky, they pick us up at the airport, take us to the port the next morning then at the end of the cruise pick us up at the port and take us back to the airport. Doesn't get simplier then that

Legend is a smaller ship

Legend has changed from Costa Maya to Roatan Honduras, and rumour has it that Glory is dumping Belize and Costa Maya and going to Key West and Progresso. We wanted to go back to Belize for ziplining which we didn't do last time we where there and hear Roatan is a beautiful port.

Also, I have a friend who went on Glory and although they had a great time, debarktion was a nightmare as there is just so many people on this ship....but that is just his opinion.

Please join us on Legend...you wont' be disappointed

Thank you so much for the post. We sailed out of Tampa on the Inspiration last and love it. Can you give me more info on the Chase Suites? Cost, location, how to book.

How do you arrange the transportation that is included? Is that something you do when you reserve or is there a desk where you tell them your departure and return date?

I am sorry but does breaky mean breakfast?

Thanks again, Carla

Are you looking at the same week we are going??? march 9th???

The night before was $239 and taht was breakfast and all the transporttion. At the airport we called then from the curtiousy phone they where there in about 10 min, we got to the hotel and they booked our shuttle for the next morning then again when we got of fthe ship we called them and it was about 15 min.

I believe the website is www.woodfinsuites.com

The price is a little higher then when we where there in Oct but I think it is just the time of the year.

But it is a really nice place,

Kim

Yep, no cruise After sitting down with everyone this weekend we decided to head to California for a week and spend it with my BF's family over new years instead. This would be the first year that we wouldn't be able to spend the holidays with them.

My BFs mom felt so bad cause she knows how cruise addicted I am. I am not sure she still believes I am not mad. But she told me we are for sure going to Europe in the summer....so I guess that makes up for not being able to cruise this winter
