I don't remember hair dryers on the Fantasy class ships but the Conquest class ships all have hair dryers.

Default I Stand Corrected - Pack the Hairdryer

Do I need to pack my Hair Dryer?

A hair dryer is provided in the bathroom (Destiny, Triumph, Victory) or at the desk/vanity in the stateroom (Spirit, Pride, Legend, Conquest, Glory, Miracle, Valor, Liberty). Hair dryers are not provided in the staterooms of all other ships.

When we were on the Fantasy in Feb, there were no hair dryers in the cabins. You could get the room steward to bring you one to use, but they weren't "standard equipment" like they were on the Conquest.

I don't care if they furnished the best and most expensive dryer you could get, the wife would still say it wasn't as good as hers.

It's a woman thing. We women understand exactly what she means!

Ahhh thanks. I'm excited, yet am not excited. Just worried about boarding my animals (as usual). Give me an hour on the ship and all those fears will be forgotten I hope.

I miss my dog while on a cruise also. Wish I could take her with me disguised as a "seeing eye" dog to get her onboard, but I've never seen a Chihuahua as a guide dog.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! My "PUGGLE" would LOVE the water park and camp carnival (she is only 7 months old)

On the Conquest class ships, there is a hair dryer in the top drawer of the desk. I did not take a hair dryer on the Ecstasy (Fantasy class ship) but called and asked for one and someone brought on to our door. It was very powerful and worked great. Saved room in our luggage. Cruisegirl

I believe that on the fantasy class you have to ask the room steward and everytime I go that is the first thing I do is ask the room steward because they only have a limited number of hair dryers for each deck; they are handed out on a first come first serve basis.

I took one of those little ten dollar travel size hairdryers. It was small and easy to pack and it worked great!

When we were on the Legend, my daughter somehow ended up getting her long hair twisted inside the hairdryer, it was so powerful it sucked it right in somehow! She ended up having to cut a chunk of her hair in order to get it out but she also cooked the motor in the darn thing. :o

Have a nice cruise!
