Default ok, passports..its OFFICIAL!

We applied for our passports one week before we sailed, we knew we didnt have to have them until Jan. so around August 28 we applied.

Got home today the 16th of Sept and my daughter said they had all arrived on the 10th. i was floored. 2 weeks and passports were at my door!

i went to my local courthouse for the passports. Just heads up

Wow, that's great. I thought ours was fast, 4 weeks. What did you show for ID to cruise since your BC is needed to apply for your passports. Do you have 2 BCs?

Anyone know if a BC is okay for a 3 y/o to cruise with? He has no pic or Gov't ID.

your 3 yr old needs a passport sooner or later, so both parents have to be there with birthcertificates or passports/or both and the babies birth certificate at the passport "shop" heck im not sure you need to bring yours, but do it just incase. He'll get his quickly im sure

Yup i just got 2 copies at the same courthouse i applied for the passports at, it was an extra 22.00 but its always good to have a back up anyway, i'd lose my butt if it was attached and so big.

Default Fast returns!

It seems that the local courthouse might be the way to go. My brothers family (5 in all) applied August 20th and they received all 5 today September 18th. We don't cruise until April of 2008 but they had heard it was taking forever and decided to apply early. Now the rest of the family says it's no rush to get them. I have told them time and again that it is still taking upwards of 10 to 12 weeks for some people. Rick

You never know if they keep waiting like tons of other people, it will take the 12-16 weeks again.
