So I am looking for advice again BTW thank you in advance.I found two sailings that a kind of similar to each other that work in our time frame.
Quote:
Glory:
Cozumel, Belize, Nassau, Costa Maya's replacement (whatever that is)
Legend:
Cozumel, Belize, Grand Cayman, Roatan
I did some research on the ships themselves and the only real difference I saw besides the size was that the Legend had the ethnic food station in the lido buffet.
I know I am missing something, help? Any advice on ship or itineraries? Thanks again, Carla

I see you've sailed a Fantasy-class and have two upcoming cruises on a Conquest-class. Why not try a Spirit-class LEGEND rather than another Conquest-class GLORY. Besides, you've been to GC and know it's way KEWL compared to Nassau. JMHO. If you decide on Glory, it's a great ship and Port Canaveral is the best.

It is highly likely in the next week we are going to have to cancel the new years eve cruise on the freedom. This cruise would be a replacement for it. Plus the second cruise to Europe has also gone up in the air now too....*sigh*

Then in THAT case, I'd opt for the Glory eastern since you already been to GC and Calica. Any way you can swing those dates? St. Thomas + St Maarten are DROP DEAD gorgeous and yah even get Nassau thrown in as a booby prize.
So far my favorite ship is the Glory. It was beautiful and easy to get around. So far it was also the largest of the ships I've been on. We had a group of people family and friends. We had balcony cablins and had the divider opened between them. It was great.

I have been on the Glory 3 times and the Legend twice. You're going to be shocked by my answer - I love 'em both. However, I would give the edge to the Glory. The Glory is a little more lively and, in my opinion, just a little more elegant (not by much!). It seems that the Glory has more going on. But truly you will love either. Enjoy!
Glory more lively??? Not from my experience. We haven't sailed the Legend yet but will this November. We sailed the Glory in the past and while the shows and CD were good, and the captain had a personality, the 2 piece deck band (I know they rotate different bands) and the piped in music on the Lido deck was very disappointing. That was really our only complaint was the music on the Lido deck BORING. It was like old Johnny Mathis or something. Nobody wanted to party or dance. Sleeping was the order of the day on the Lido deck. Everything else was fine. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our Glory cruise. We just got caught up on our rest during the sea days.
Ports of Call: Departs From Miami, Florida visiting Nassau, Bahamas; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Philipsburg, St. Maarten
I guess I should clarify. Not big on beaches or swimming so we were trying to stay to the western Caribbean where there were more adventuresome things to do.
On the other hand if we were going to do eastern it would have to be on the Freedom

My husband and I spent 7 nights on the Legend this past July for our 25th wedding anniversary and I couldn't find one thing wrong with the ship or cruising experience. It's big, It's beautiful, the staff was professional and very
accomodating. I am now a cruiseaholic following that experience. Cayman Islands was beautiful, great beach, Mexico, the salesman were a bit annoying, Let's make a deal, but an interesting experience. I'd give the Lengend a try if I were you. Joan LoBo
