Default Under the bridge

Has anyone ever had a cabin that was directly under the ships bridge. Our friends have cabin 7212 on the Glory and it is right under the bridge. I was just wondering how much noise, if any they would have. I wouldn't think it would be to noisy. Thanks.

We had a stateroom under the bridge on the Liberty, you could not hear a thing from above, very quiet. It was the people walking around on the observation deck right outside our window that were noisy.

Their cabin is a balcony so I don't think the observation deck will be a problem. Maybe the cabin is not directly under the bridge, but it looks to be, hard to tell from deck plans, I just know it is very close to being under the bridge. We will find out soon though. Thanks.

I see, their room is on the side of the ship and not facing the front. The bridge is 2 decks up so I don't think they will hear a sound. Empress deck is always a good choice. That's why they put so many cat 11 and 12 on the empress deck on the newer ships. Half way between every thing and passenger cabins above and below to filter the noise from the public areas.

It looks like it should be a quiet cabin, end of the hall, no elevators. We will find out soon.
