In April the funnel deck was adults only, and there was a tarp around the perimeter. There is current discussion as to whether or not this means "top optional" since there is nothing posted one way or another. I have only 234 days to find out for myself.
As far as an adults only pool anywhere, couldn't tell ya only because we didn't care or look for one.
I don't remember every thinking, "EWWWW." I guess some of the tables could have been bussed quicker but never had a problem finding a clean table to sit at.
If you're sailing the Victory, just be careful of the seahorses on the staircase banisters!!
I liked the Victory very much. She's very nicely decorated-the lobby will take your breath away. And the staff is fabulously exceptional! The entertainment was really good and I liked the food. Of course, I have yet to sail a Carnival ship that anything was bad on...
In April the top deck wasn't topless-I think Carnival got rid of all of those due to some idiot posting pics on the internet...
No adults only pool...however there is one hot tub at the aft pool that is adults only. And if that is too crowded, use the spa hot tub. It's always adults only.
I am sailing on the Victory for the 5th time in November. Probably my favorite ship in the Carnival fleet (although the Glory could beat out the Victory). I have heard from some on other postings on this site that the Victory was not in a very good state up in NY very recently. People said the staff, entertainment and food was sub-par. I've never experienced this on the Victory or any other Carnival ship for that matter.
