Not the "Suite" life I was expecting - or paid for
We booked cabin #5266 on the Spirit for Nov 14 of this year. We just found out even though it has a great wrap around balcony, it is significantly smaller that the rest of the Cat 11 suites and there is only 1 large closet and no seperate rooms. I called Carnival and they said they never told me how big it was so they will not adjust any price nor a shipboard credit. Nice treatment after 13 loyal years!
Anyway - has anyone been in this cabin that can offer any opinions? I was told it is the same layout on all Spirit class ships so any photos, personal experience would be a great help!
The size can't be that much smaller since it is a suite. As for a seperate room, I haven't seen any separate rooms on any of the suite picutres I have seen. The cabin is up to 50% larger than a standard balcony cabin.
Don't let it bum you out, have a fun holiday!

2008 Conquest & Liberty
2009 Valor, Freedom, and Splendor
2010 Glory and Liberty
Some wraps on Spirit class do have separate rooms. 4237 is one of them.
Maybe you could check and see if it is still available and switch cabins.
I love the wraps whether they have separate rooms or not.
But i loved 4237...IMO best cabin on any CCL ship
2001- Destiny (week of 9/11 tragedy)
2002- Pride ( February and September)
2003- Glory and Fascination
Although I liked 4237, DW did not. She found it too choppy.
She would have preferred one bigger room.
But we liked deck 4 the best just for what we think is the best balcony.
