I just found the posts and what you have been going through. Prayer is a wonderful thing. Just to let you know that my dear daughter went through this same thing back in 1991. After the illness her pregnancy had it's ups and downs. The issue next came with delivery. They failed to stay on top of her and she went into shock with extreme high temp. The baby was delivered with the highest temp on record at the hospital (still holds the record to this date) had emergency c-section with no anesthesia, or block. Ran out of time. They were both in intensive care 9 days. My lovely daughter is now 36 and couldn't be better. Our wonderful grandson turned 16 on Monday. He is 6ft tall and weighs in at 190. Got his drivers license on his birthday. An honor student and athelete. I pray for lots of blessings for your child and grandson. Please keep us posted on her ongoing condition.
Praise the Lord! What wonderful news! Kelly and her son will remain in our prayers and thoughts throughout her pregnancy. As the mother of 2 boys I know what you mean about them never growing up. My son was just recently in the hospital with a high fever they couldn't get down and even though he's 29 (oh my, how old does that make me!), he still wanted his mommy.
Not to sound rude, but would you mind posting in the off topic forum instead of the CCL forum? I get frustrated whenever posts are off topic, especially when there is a forum for off topic posts.
Again, I don't want to sound rude, but one reason I love cruisemates is that the threads are kept on topic (for the most part), as opposed to another popular cruise discussion board...
Lumofny, I actually read your post 3 times because
I couldn't believe that I was reading it correctly.
How anyone could write something so cold and heartless is beyond me.
This is a board of people who share the same interests. People get to know each other
and I for one am glad that Nurseypoo thought enough of us to share her life altering emergency.
She posted where she knew we would read the post and read it we did.
You were way off base. Enough said.
Nurseypoo, I'm so glad that your daughter is doing better. I know she will thrive under your care because
"Mommy care is the best care!"
Here's to a bright and exciting future...
