The A/C has been very good on all my cruises. There is a knob on the ceiling to control the strength of the airflow if you need more air but we didn't really need it. It was plenty cool.

It was cold! I know some people take fans, but I think you shouldn't have a problem.

It is usually hot on the first day but by that evening, it gets cold in the cabins.

We had problems with ours on the Conquest last month, and so did a few cabins around us..This was the first time we experienced this problem.

Okay, our room worked great, probably too great for my roomies...
I'm hot all the time, and the air was wonderful in our cabin...

I'm a Hottie, too.

Usually I'm plenty cool. I do take a small fan with me. As much for noise as for the coolness.
BUT... on the Glory, our A/C was barely working. I was SO thankful for my fan!

Hi there! I too am a HOTTIE! I always crank down the AC in the room and in the afternoon make sure the curtains stay closed (assuming you have a window or a balcony). I have never brought a fan, but have always asked my room steward for one.

The AC in the cabin I was in for September was set to the max, but I never really felt that it was too cold (since it was hotter than hell outside!)....Needless to say, I got an AC cold.....It was so hot out that having it high meant a comfortable night. I turned it down half way and found I was rather warm at night under those oh so comfy duvets on the bed.

Set it half way and start from there to see what is best for you.

Not hot natured but when we are on the ships we realize how much we miss our ceiling fan. On the Legend I always found myself hitting the Quick Cool button. It was also frustrating that when you opened your balony door it turned off this function. Should have a timer on the door so just opening to go out or in does not turn it off.

We just got off the Glory last Saturday. It was hot in the cabin the afternoon we boarded. We closed the curtains to keep the sun out for a while and by that night it was very nice the rest of the trip. I got cool a night or two, but not too cold and never hot after that first afternoon.

The ac worked fine in our cabin but in the main venues of Triumph it was so cold my gf and me had to wear sweaters/sweatshirts. We were both traveling with our husbands. Each of us on different nights were so cold, we went to bed in our sweats and we had NOT gotten sunburned during the day. You were in the sun but as soon as you went through those doors, what a difference. Need I say that the cute tops both of us brought with us (after having worn similar attire on Inspiration in May), were still hanging in the closet. We both wished we had brought some long sleeve or 3/4 length tops with us. When we go with our girlfriends on Liberty in May, we will be well prepared. I don't know if it's because it was a bigger ship or what. We still had a great time though.

Word to the wise, make sure you take cold medicine that you know will work that won't make you drowsy. I caught a terrible cold and was miserable the last evening into the next day. It's no fun traveling when you're not feeling well. Five days post-cruise and I'm still trying to kick this thing. Was it worth it, absolutely!!

We just got off the Sensation 2 days ago and our a/c worked great
It even was a little cold for me at night, that I took out the blanket from the closet. on the last night it seemed to be a little less cold. we thought about bringing a fan with us but didn't and I am glad that i didn't take up the suitcase space for that fan.

Our airconditioning was awesome on all our ships except for the Destiny where our friends on the Lido deck froze and our family on the Empress deck baked.

I think the odds are better that the ac will be just right though : )
