I can assure you that your boys WILL LOVE IT!! Whether they decide to join Camp Carnival or the teen club they will have a great time! My boys are the same age as yours and they always have a great time. They enjoy dressing up for dinner albeit they don't always admit it Sometimes they hang out with the kids programs or sometimes they hang out with us. It truly is an AWESOME family vacation...fun for all!

Hi bdmom ~

We just got off the Liberty two weeks ago. I posted a review on Oct 25th...I'm not sure if this link will work or not:

Never been on the Liberty, but the Western Caribbean is beautiful. I was in the Eastern in April and think the Western is prettier. You are going to have a fabulour time!

don't know anything about the Liberty, but my sons, 11 & 13 on the first cruise to Cayman, Cozumel, Isla Roatan (hondurous) and Belize just loved the Cave Tubing in Belize and Chunkanaab(swam with dolphins) in Cozumel. They did enjoy the Turtle farm at Cayman. At 13 & 15 we saw
Cayman & Calica and they loved the "underground" river at Xcaret in Calica.
But more than anything, loved being on the boat. never ending Pizza, ice cream and hot cocoa (yeah, in the that heat!!!!) made them happy as did all the friends to hang with.
Hope you all have a wonderful time.

Default Got off the Liberty Nov 4th

Returned home yesterday from 8 days on the Liberty. POC at Cozumel, Limon, Costa Rica and Colon, Panama.

The ship was very nice and CLEAN. The water slide is long and the boys ought to like that. Geat food on the Lido deck but sorry to say the dining food was ok but could be better on some dishes. One of the pleasant surprises was the "Deli" that made hot ham-n-cheese and grilled Reubens among others!! WOW!! Also had a fish n chips above the rear buffet on the lido deck. Pretty good too.

The staff was very responsive. The beds were awesome. The lounges for the adults were quite a hit. And the different decors were amazing.

If you go to Costa Rica book the canopy zip line tour!! Although it was a 2 hr ride the tour director gave us a two hour culture talk about the the land, people, plants, economy etc. It was great and worth every penny.

Carnival has raised the cost of the Coke fountain card to $44 per card for adults plus the always present 15% gratuity. Next time we'll have the ice tea and save $102.

Don't know about the boys but YOU'LL have fun!! The boys will have fun too.
