Default fiesta party boat in Cozumel

Can anyone tell me if this is an excursion to do for 1st timers to Cozumel? Hubby is 40 and I am 33.....or will it be just for the 20 something crowd?
And what to expect on this excursion...if any of you have done this one in the past.

I just did this on the Oct 7th sailing and it was a blast, I do fall in the 20 something category but ther ewere older people on the cruise having just as much fun as us. Open bar, music, dancing is what you can expect on the way back to the ship is when it starts to get real crazy with conga lines and men dressing like women. It was a blast I cant wait to go again.

One of my most favorite thing to do in Cozumel is watch the people trying to return to the ship after the Fiesta Party Boat! For the most part, they seem to really have a good time,,,,but REALLY get blasted while aboard. If you can handle the booze,,,,I think you'll really have a good time. If you do it,,,let us know what you think of it when you return.

This is one of my all-time favorites, my husband and I do it every time we do to Cozumel. We are 40/50 something. Not only is the Fiesta Boat fun but they take you to the beach where you can swim or use any of the non-motorized water toys it's just fun. I would highly recommend it.

We are in our 50's and have been to Cozumel several times, but never did the Fiesta Party boat. Our next cruise to Cozumel includes 15 of us ages 6, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, and adults in 30's and 50's. Would this be something we would all enjoy, or is it a bit too wild for the kids?

When we took them before we all went to Paradise Beach and loved it, but might be interested in doing something different with them.

We took our kids when went a couple of years ago, they had a ball. The only thing is we only have two and I can't remember if we got a discount. They have soda and fruit punch for the kids and like I said earlier when you get to the beach there are all kinds of water toys i.e, kayaks, banana boats etc. At the party on the way back, they dance around alot and the entertainers always try to include the kids. You have people from age 5 to 75.

Has anyone else had this experience? I did the party boat in Dec. '05. Maybe it was because not as many people cruise in the winter as in the summer... The boat was fun, but it was only at the most a third full. Secondly, we were the only people at Paradise Beach. I've read other posts about the beach that say it can be a zoo, tons of people, etc. Not when I went. Anyone else?

Your response made me laugh - I'm not worried about feeling "old" because we always have a great time acting 1/2 our age on a cruise. I was more concerned with the "adult" atmosphere around the children.

Hi haven't been on the party boat myself, but have heard stories and seen the results. If you can handle the booze, i understand this is a great excursion, lots of fun or you can go and just watch the other people. i have heard some people do things they would never do, and wake up the next day and wonder what they did!!!
