Onboard Carnival Freedom right now! I hope to upload some pictures and at least give you a perspective on what I see on this brand new carnival ship. We have a BIG CruiseMates Cruise coming onboard the first full revenue cruise (a full week) on this ship in the Caribbean. 80 cruisers from Cruisemates.
By the way – I hope to see you all at the pre-night cocktail party at Bayside. I hope I can make, but it depends on whether or not the Costa Fortuna is actually going to sail that night. I am scheduled to be on her.

Reubens are good, but you must try the corned beef & pastrami combo. They slightly toast it which makes it so juicy. Ask for more meat. Show him your thumb and index finger indicating how thick. Sort of N.Y. style. I swore I would be at the sushi bar the whole cruise, but never made it past the corned beef & pastrami. What ever you get, it's fantastic.

They have a stage show based on Beatles music that I thought was really good, it is all Beatles music as played by the band and sung by the singers. There is some concert footage, too.
The cast is extremely talented, and beautiful.
The dining room food is excellent, I have had the lamb, lobster and chateaubriand - all scrumptious. The chocolate volcano dessert is great, too.

Decor - I cannot honestly say this is my favorite ship. The colors are dark and feel heavy. There are "War of the World" light pods everywhere that change colors constantly, but you don't notice it unless you stand there & watch them.
The cruise director is Todd. He is a nice guy, chatted with him last night. They also have an art gallery on board with more original & signed art than on any ship ever. Interesting, but with $40k paintings, wouldn't it make more sense on Seabourn?
