I had the cruise booked on the Glory on 4-26-08 and have been paying it down and watching my balance. I noticed they placed a $99 dollar gas charge on it. I then decided to ask if I could use my entertainment book coupon to get the $100.00 off the balance which would then pay for the gas they placed on my balance due. I sent the coupon in by certified mail. They signed for it at 10am today and took off the $100.00 off the balance by 11am only one hour after receiving! That is what I call fine customer service!
Have to ask I sent my entertainment coupon to them a month ago
and have not heard a word from them.
I did book with a travel agent and they have not heard a thing.
How do you check your balance that you owe for your cruise?
I have always used my coupons for our room with out a problem.
For others asking questions you can order a book to be sent to
your home to go www.entertainmentbook.com
and you can order it.
Sammy I sent it certified to Carnival direct and like I said they signed for the mail at 10:00am and I was shocked to see that it was posted by 11am. I booked with Carnival so when you sign on to the web site it brings your reservation up to see what the balance is that is where and when I noticed they added a surcharge on for the gas. I guess to alot of people to get 100.00 off the cruise doesn't matter but it does to me so I was happy they gave it to us. There are restrictions you have to read the back of the coupon. I think if you have a travel agent they get it for you after you send them the coupon. I always make sure I send mail by certified for things like that so I know they received it.
If you go to the Entertainment.com web site you can click on browse books up comes the states that are listed. I used the book St Petersburg Florida book even though it is not really close to me. It has alot of general coupons to use such as Carnival etc. Look on the site there are many states listed. I know my son's state of South Dakota is not listed so I couldn't buy him a book.
....Applies to cat 6A to 12 except 6E & 9A

....Offer is not combinable with any other discount, promotional offer or groups.
....Savings for single occupancy bookings is 50.00 for 7 days or longer. 25.00 for 3-4 day cruises.

If you use a travel agent they use a code CPEP to get it for you. You give the travel agent the coupon filled out. If you use Carnival as your agent they need to receive the coupon filled out and you have to mail it certified as proof of receiving it.
If you don't find a book in your area you could order a book close to your home state and get the coupons. Just go on the entertainment web site and order online. I tried attaching a copy of the coupon here I can't seem to get it to take on here and attach. SO THE ANSWER TO A COUPON BEING USED ALONG WITH A MILITARY DISCOUNT I DON'T THINK YOU CAN.
If anyone in the St. Louis area would like to purchase one of these let me know. My mom started a non profit organization to stop child abuse in the area. Her organization is selling them as a fund raiser.
