Default Chocolate Buffet, when and where??

I've heard all kinds of great things about the Chocolate buffet. But where is it and on which day??? Also what kind of goodness can I expect to find on it. Thanks everyone.

On our cruise on the Glory, it was on the last day in the Lido restaurant during lunch.

Every ship I have sailed on, they have the chocolate buffet on your last full day at sea before returning to your home port. It is held in the buffet restaurant...on ships that have two separate buffet set-ups, it will be in the area you first enter from the Lido deck pool area.

The selection includes chocolate cakes with different fillings (lemon, etc.), chocolate cheesecake, chocolate fudge, fresh fruit dipped in the chocolate fountain (chocolate covered pineapple was great), ice cream, pudding, chocolate bark, etc.

Watch the hours that it is open because it's only available for a couple of hours.

dont get so excited about this like i did, or your going to be disappointed.

It was kinda pretty but most of it tasted like day old desserts from the store, and some were very wierd.

i'd go again, but without the high expectations of fine chocolates and hot and melty desserts.

Also, from my experience, the line will be about a mile long. As Nursey said, it's kind of fun to look at but by the last day or so of the cruise, I'm pretty desserted out already...And that's coming from a true chocoholic too lol.

I thought the desserts that I tried where very good, they all tasted fresh and I ate too many. The line was long, but it moved pretty fast. They have so many things to choose from, including a choco fountain with fruits to dip in it. You have to try it at least on one cruise.

If you like chocolate (who doesn't) it is pretty good. On Glory it was on the last day so you are pretty full of food by then. Wish they had it on the extra day at sea we had. The best was chocolate cheese like cake. The chocolate fountain was pretty good, too. The thing not to miss is the Grand Buffet at midnight on Thursday. It is so elegant and the staff really outdo this. It is actually prettier than it tastes but the pictures we took are just beautiful. Don't miss this.
