Default Formal nights on Glory Western??

I know that we will have 2 formal nights. But which nights will they be?? I'm thinking the 1st formal night is on the second night. I have no idea when the 2nd one is.

Also is it alright to wear the same outfir for both?? Not sure if I'll have room for 2 suits. Thanks everyone.

Your formal nights are usually on your sea days. We did the western route in Feb. I know they have dropped Costa Maya so it may change for you. We loved the Glory, and formal nights were fun. If you get a chance try the Emerald dining room. It was excellent and worth the $30 pp.
Enjoy your cruise

We were on the Glory just last week. The first formal night was on Sunday night and second was on Thursday night.
My husband wore the same suit on both nights but with different shirts and ties. Last year he had a tux that he switched up bowties and vests. I had 2 different little black dresses but they looked similar.
You'll have a wonderful time no matter what you wear!

Of course you can wear the same thing on both, may-be dress it up a little different. I honestly don't think anyone would notice and it does save packing space. The men can just bring a different shirt and tie like the previous poster mentioned, that works wonderfully.

Have a great time!

You are going to love the Glory. As someone else said, Sunday is the Captain's Cocktail party and formal night dinner. Thursday is the 2nd formal night. To me the Captain's party makes this night special. Just wear what you really like and enjoy. I took two "little black dresses" and they didn't take much room. My husband took a dark suit for the first night and then a sports coat for the 2nd. Since he seldom wears suits, he enjoyed this. Believe me you do not remember what others wore the first night.

We are sailing on the Glory Dec of 2008, and someone said that they don't cruise to Costa Maya anymore, yet it is listed on our itinerary. Does anyone know where she sails instead??

On our recent cruise, over Thanksgiving, Costa Maya was replaced with Cozumel. It's possible that Costa Maya will be open for cruisers again by the time you sail in December, 2008.
