stateroom?
has anyone stayed in room 8346 on the Conquest ? If so how is it I know its close to elev. so is that a noise prolbem ? I am a light sleeper

The elevators are out in a separate vestibule, I doubt you will hear much in your stateroom. Try ear plugs.

Hi Shirley
Looks like a near perfect cabin to me! Paul is correct, and I'm sure you won't hear any elevator noise from your cabin. The only noise source I can see might be from the deck party that they have one night of the cruise as you're under the pool area. Play your cards right, and go to the deck party and enjoy it, then go to bed after it's over.
By the way, I really enjoyed you on T.V. and in movies! Great job.

I always take earplugs! They're wonderful! I actually gave a pair to a more seasoned cruiser on our last cruise and it helped her a lot.

We had 8438 on the Freedom and it was quiet (that is the ship noises). Now, the kids in the hall and next door was a different matter.
