Wow that trip sucked!!! Never get a room on the top floor or near the front of the ship. Sea sickness from Hell!!!!!!

We only had 3 stops. San Juan, St Thomas and St Maarten. We didnt make it to San Juan due to weather. The excursions in both St Thomas and St Maarten were a waste of money because you had no visibility in the water. The ship should have told us not to go. A money grab in my eyes. We were told that the other cruise lines cancelled theirs and they got a full refund.

On route to St Thomas the pools were closed and the hot tubs emptied due to weather. I know its not their fault but what a way to spend your days. The people were puking. The lady cleaning my room was puking.

I was disappointed with the food. And the lines for food. Oh my god.

There were no real activities by the pool. The same video played on the big screen each day. Under water video. And then corny Barry Manilow came on . I was ready to jump over board!

The ship was full of 80 year olds with wheel chairs and FAT people. I was a single girl on the trip and bored out of my mind. Unless you want to play bingo, or go to the casino.
I was booked for 8pm dinners so I missed the shows at 8 and was too tired for the 10pm shows especially after eating dinner.

So all in all the food was cafeteria bland. God the dessert table that I had dreamt about was even boring. No taste to the cheese cake?

We missed 1 out of 3 islands. The water excursions were a waste of time and the activities on board were geared towards the old. I wont cruise again. The staff was nice but thats about all I found.

Any one else like the trip? I heard 3 people died. Not sure what cruise line but the week of dec 9th . A lady at the airport said a young kid died alcohol poisoning, older man had a heart attack and they couldnt get a helicopter to him, and an old lady died due to the OLGA storm?

There are 6 coffins on board at all times so I'm told. I'm surprised that more people dont keel over considering the AGE and WEIGHT of these people! Wow!!!!!!

Anyways disappointed. I'd love to hear your comments. FUN SHIP? Who's kidding who?
K
Seems to me that absolutely nothing would have made you happy.

I don't get it--Kelly can say really hurtful and mean things when I'm the one who got edited for my opinion about where she belongs.

Kuki you do a great job-don't get me wrong but with comments like hers....I think she should have a few choice sentences taken out.

Something tells me that you think that cruises are like the 70's Love Boat KellyBelly. A place where you (a single girl) goes in hopes to find the "love of your life"? With the comments you made on here it i clear why you are single.

I was on the Caribbean Princess that same week. We had the same issues with weather and missed one of our ports of call. We made the most of it as we weren't able to use the pools, etc either. Our cruise also had a lot of older people, however I found several of them to be charming and acutally funny. They had a lot of interesting things to talk about when we sat with them at our meals.

I am a 36 year old and in decent shape and I felt as though I could have fun on our cruise without feeling like I needed to Judge others who were on their vacation to have fun too. If you are looking for Co-ed sex parties and meaningless hookups, then you might want to consider a "Spring Break" cruise next time.

Bottom Line KellyBelly, You are at best a young little spoiled brat that has a lot of growing up to do. You too will be old one day, and your metabolism will catch up to you. You clearly aren't happy being thin and young so maybe you should eat a sandwich and gain some respect for people!

Happy Holidays!

Jimmi

Hmmmmmmmmmm........I'm wondering who she went with.

She uses "we" throughout and then mentions that's she's a single girl & then switches her tenses to "I". 3rd person to first person? Can we make up our mind here?

No visability in the water......Oh give me a break! Girlie, come up here to the Northeast & go visit our beaches. You can't even see 6 inches down because the water is always a murky black color. A shark could be a foot away & you would not see it. You don't swim in our waters....

Barry Manilow has been on Dancing with the Stars show several times. The guy has more $$ from his records & concerts than you will ever see in a lifetime. Don't knock some of the best because without people like him and Elvis, you would never enjoy the music you have today.

Does anyone know why the long buffet lines seem to be ongoing complaint on Carnival? On RCI late last year, we had an almost full ship. The buffet lines were never really long at all even during peak times. In fact, rather than a line, it seemed you just went to whatever area you wanted to get food from, grabbed a plate an waited a moment or so for the person in front of you to get theirs...I don't ever remember a "line" to get into the buffet area.

Not a burn on Carnival but just wondering why it seems to be a major issue with them.

Sounds to me like Kelly's nothing but a bitter, unhappy individual. I guess her being single for that long has made her bitter. Maybe she just needs to get laid in order to be less bitter about life. lol.
