Default Questions about weddings

So, I am getting married on the Carnival Liberty in July and have LOTS of questions!
We are doing a double wedding with future BIL and will stay on the boat for a 7 day trip to the eastern caribbean. I don't know if there are ways to save money in booking, what type of cabin to pick (we will have our kids with us, ages 8 and 3), types of activities to pick, etc...
Thanks!

Congrats on the double wedding! Sounds like fun.

I'd search around for a good CRUISE Travel Agent. You won't find the best deal just by surfing the net. It'll take emails or phone calls to find out what the real best deal they can offer is.

As for what to do on the islands... it's going to depend on which ship and itin you end up on, and where you're going.

Once you book the cruise with a knowledgable cruise travel agent, to get your booking settled, then the first thing I would do is to find out the name of the wedding cordinator on the ship. Deal with her, via email now to work out the many many details, of pulling this off, the way you want it done.

I hope you enjoy your double wedding at sea....Congrats!

Thanks everybody!! I think my BIL already booked the cruise, so a travel agent probably can't help now. I think? He booked the Liberty and it goes like this:

Miami, FL 4:00pm View Shore Excursions

2 Half Moon Cay, Bahamas 9:00am 4:00pm View Shore Excursions

3 Fun Day At Sea

4 St. Thomas, USVI 8:00am 6:00pm View Shore Excursions

5 San Juan, Puerto Rico 7:00am 3:30pm View Shore Excursions

6 Grand Turk 11:00am 5:30pm View Shore Excursions

7 Fun Day At Sea

8 Miami, FL

It's for July 12th. So after the holiday wer'e going to call the wedding coordinator and inquire about pricing for a double wedding. I wonder if we should purchase our cruise separately maybe?

Thanks for the advice everyone!

my son got married in 5-2007 in St. Thomas at Bluebeards Castle. All arraingments were handled througt Carnival. Everything was excellent! It doesn't matter if you purchase the cruise seperately, the wedding is handled through a Canadian company independently but in association with carnival. The cost for the wedding was $1000.00 with video and photos extra.

I never knew that Carnival is now arraigning people.
Sorry, I couldn't help it!

Thanks for the info jlauntz , that sounds amazing! The thing is we have a huge family and they can't all travel with us.
Actually, I have recently learned that my future bil hasn;t booked yet. He just decided on the July 12th cruise. But, I think earlier is better, like April or May. So, maybe we'll change it.

Guess I should use my dictionary more. I wish you the best of luck in planning your wedding.
