Default Tampa VIP check in

Is it just a seperate line or do they have a lounge. Have not been out of Tampa in years.

As I recall back in May 07; there was first a separate line right at the entrance and then I think I saw a separate waiting area for the VIP section. When you go in; the VIP line was to the far left. (of course, this may have changed and you gotta look for the signs.) I think Skymaster and Ms Vita or Helen & Ray may be the pros on the Tampa port - so hopefully they can confirm.

Yep, you've pretty much got it correct. The signs mark the VIP lounge, which is off to the left of the mass check in. They have a small area with a couple of desks where they sit you down and take care of the paperwork, then you're escorted to the VIP holding area, just short of where you actually board. (That is if they aren't already boarding) It's a pretty good set-up, and sure beats standing in the lines waiting. Tampa is an excellent port to sail from, and is much easier in almost all respects than most of the others.

Have a great cruise,

Ken
