Liberty cabin info

Hi, I am new here, and am hoping for some help.
We are sailing on the Liberty in Feb., and have been assigned cabin 9205 on the Lido deck. We are traveling with a group, and had booked a suite. We were on the Empress deck, but got "upgraded" to the Lido. Has anyone been in that cabin? From the deckplan, I was wondering about the balcony location? I like that we are at the end of the hallway, away from the elevators, but just wondered if anyone had any input? This will be our first Carnival cruise.

We haven't stayed in that cabin, but from the deck plan it looks GREAT to me. I'd bet the balcony is more private than most of the others, although, it may be windy when underway. I wouldn't worry about it,,,I'll bet you really enjoy that cabin.

Okay, I have good news and bad news!! The good is it is a great location, as far as getting to all the good food, and entertainment.

This is also a good place to people watch, which leads into the bad news. Outside your balcony, to the left will be the observation deck, and the area where the ship watch people stand, so you will not be able to do anything on your balcony, that you wouldn't do in the middle of time square.

This is one of the reasons a lot of people do not like this cabin, but if you are aware that you might be seen, it should not be a problem.

Anyone can look around any balcony (in my opinion) - its not like its really private. Just close your blinds and do whatever you wanted to do on the balcony in your room...lol

Thanks for all of the input! Nothing more exciting than reading and/or taking pics of the ocean will be happening on the balcony 8) And I love people watching, so it sounds like a great location for that!!
