Default Wearing Appearal in Alternative Restaurant

8) Sailing on the Miracle and was wondering what is the proper attire for a man dining at Nick & Noras. Several years ago on the Legend I wore a Sport Jacket. Some friends recently returned from a Carnival Cruise and told he most men were wearing nice pants and shirts, very few sport jackets.

Thanks

Honestly, either choice would do fine. Do what YOU feel more comfortable in, no one will look askance. Have a great cruise!

It is your vacation, you can wear a tuxedo or you can go as casual as a pair of casual dress pants and a nice shirt to match.

Formal night is truly an interesting night. Women wear anything from formal gowns to a dress/outfit they would wear to work, or just a nice blouse and pants. Men you see everythiung from tuxedos to polo shirts and casual pants/shoes.

Wear what makes you feel comfortable because not everyone likes to dress up fancy while on vacation......

Jackets are only required on formal nights. Other than that, you can wear slacks and a shirt.

Default Personally

I like to dress nicely for the dinners, and feel a bit uncomfortable with "beach wear" dress, esp formal nites. But, to each his own, I wouldn't say anything unless Carnival politely asks them to change, then I would, also politely "warn' them if I knew the folks, to save a bit of embarrassment.
I'm sure most folks take "dinner table" pictures, and it just looks nicer when we're all dressed occasion appropriate.
Just my bit..
