Default Conquest Late This Morning

I just looked and the Conquest is not in port. If you want to see for yourself, go to Galveston.com and go to the web cams.

It is fun to watch her come in, and turn around.

The Conquest pulled in and docked a few minutes after noon local time. I'll be on her next week, so I can only hope the weather is perfect and there are no glitches at all.

I am so excited, 6 days until we leave!!!! I'm looking forward to getting head start the day before we board!

It would depend on what they like to do. The falls are a great place to go. or maybe a city tour, or go to one of the beaches.

Yea the first 2 excursins I booked own my own but I will probably book the Jamaicain one through the ship just to be safe. The girls are pretty flexable they enjoy pretty much everything. I would like to do the falls but my 6 yr old is pretty petite .Some people I haved talked to said she might be to small. I have heared rose hall is interesting.

For the jeep excursion. Everyone needs to wear long pants, and jeans are the best. Be prepared to get dirty.

If you decide to do the falls, the guides are very helpful in getting people up, and moving. They also have a walkway that you could take, if she has trouble with the climbing. It is an experience that you will never forget.

Hello friends. The Conquest was late in arriving because the Port of Galveston was closed due to fog. I looked out my port hole at 5:30am and couldn't see anything. The CD then came on and said we would be sitting at anchor for awhile until the fog dissapated enough for us to go in. It was incredible. I went out on the deck and it was a total whiteout! Around 11:30am, it cleared up enough that I could see the Voyager of the Seas in front of us and she was underway to the port herself. We started soon afterwards and it was a nice day.

I now understand why the Conquest or Ecstasy is late some mornings. Visibility is impossible.
