Returning to CM - Preparing for our trip on Liberty
I just booked a summer cruise on Liberty and am so excited to again start planning a trip. This is our third cruise on CCL. We have been nothing but pleased on our two prior cruises (2006 and 2007).
This year's trip will be from Miami to Cozumel, Cayman Islands, and Ocho Rios. All new ports for us. Last year I received excellent advice from the CM posters. My sister's family was so impressed at how much money we saved simply from listening to YOU! I am hoping that you can point us in the right direction again on cost-saving tips as they relate to excursions, transportation on the islands, etc. If you have any recommendations again, we would love to hear them. For example, last year CM suggested that while in Nassau, we taxi over to Atlantis after 6 PM because there is no admission to walk through the Dig. Someone else suggested that we take a taxi and a self-guided tour through the Ardastra Gardens in Freeport. Those suggestions were right on the mark (Affordable and Fun)! Thank you very, very much!
I look forward to sharing my excitement with you over the next 6 months! I absorb everything that you say and really appreciate the wisdom on this forum!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions for a party of 7 (3 teens, 3 40-somethings, and 1 senior) going to the ports listed above!
My son & I cruised on Liberty last summer. Eastern Carribean. It was the very best cruise we have ever taken. The ship is beautiful. Very elegant & classy. We treated ourselves to a balcony room. What a luxury. And my son introduced me to the great room service that I had never taken advantage of before. What a treat having hot coffee delivered to your room in the morning & sitting on you balcony overlooking the ocean. Oh, I just cannot wait to get back on a ship.
