Default should I change from Carnival Freedom?

I have heard horrid reviews from Carnival Freedom and am booked on it in November. What gives? Food bad? Service bad? Decor bad? Should I change to the Splendor and go somewhere else? Anyone with any insite??? Wanted to hit either the Splendor or Freedom. Thanks

Cherylroy, Your cruise record speaks for itself. Carnival, Carnival, Carnival. I believe even if those reviews are correct, your experience with this cruise line will allow you to make the small necessary changes to adapt if needed. Go on this cruise and have a great time. When you get back write a review and let us know what you think.

gee.. guess you missed all my live reports from Freedom... just above this post

We just has a wonderful week on Freedom, with terrific service.

Honestly, if you had read "so many" reviews that made you want to cancel a ship, then booking Splendour, where you're likely to find more of the same that Freedom is offering, hardly seems like the right choice either.

Cheryl -

Don't know where you are reading the bad reviews of the Carnival Freedom, but I had a great two weeks on her during the Transatlantic Cruise.

Great staff, great service and I would love to have revisited her during the recent bloggers cruise, although I was unable to take the time off.

We just got off the Freedom and can't complaine about anything. Everything was great. Some people will not have a good time no matter what. Never rely on reviews 100%. You will see bad review for the Queen Mary so what does that tell you ??? Go and make your own review then you know what its like.

We were on the Freedom during the Turkeys for Freedom cruise. She is a great vessel. Don't change.

These negative reviews don't hold water with me, as a rule. MOST who post negative reviews of cruise ships are either, haven't a clue or are chronic pessimist, one.
When I returned from the Legend I posted a generally positive feedback, while some on that VERY SAME sailing slammed the ship. Same story a year later with Valor..I loved it...others hated it.
In other words, discern what others say, and ignore the trash talk.

I am glad to hear that there are good reviews of the Freedom. Our family of 5 will be on the Thanksgiving cruise. Does anyone know if there has been a MOB started yet for it?
