Default Anyone been on Glory lately?

Am considering the Glory for our first cruise in August. any info would be very helpful. Also, considering RCI but seems much more expensive and not as good ports as Glory.

Thanks

GLORY is an excellent ship, and cruise IMO. We've cruised her several times, and are never disappointed in the ports, the crew, the entertainment, and especially the food. (Best food in the entire Carnival fleet, but that's just a matter of taste I suppose) I wouldn't hesitate for an instant to recommend GLORY.

Have a great cruise,

Ken

I agree with skymaster. We sailed her in October 2007 and had a great time. Beautiful ship, great food and entertainment. I'm thinking about sailing The Glory again for our next cruise in 2009. I had no complaints about anything on the ship. Here is a link to photos of the ship. Enjoy.

We were on the Glory in May........our 5th cruise, 2 with Carnival, 1 with Celebrity, 2 with RCI.

The Glory is our favorite ship so far. The ship is beautiful, the food was great, the ports are great(we were on the Easern, but the Western is great to!), we enjoyed all the entertainment we saw. The deck parties were fun, the crew was great......the kids could not get enough of the waterslide and the icecream!

We can not think of one bad thing about our cruise on the Glory.

We are going on the Liberty out of Miami in June, I hope it is as good as the Glory!

Love the Glory..
Best of everything on that ship.
The glory and the liberty are my two favorites so far.

Good luck picking what cruise you want to go on...

I was re-routed to the Glory during the hurricanes of 2004 when my cruise was cancelled. I loved the ship and am leaving again on her on April 26. The last time I was there it was a bunch of last minute cruises and folks like me who had been bumped from other cancelled cruises. Considering there were a lot of angry people on board they handled it very well and made an otherwise bad cruise nice (bad because it was supposed to be 7 days and was only 4 due to another hurricane out at sea). I look forward to going back and seeing her thru different eyes 8)
