Stateroom question

Got our stateroom # today does anyone know if this is a good spot on the ship? Stateroom M127 main deck and does main deck mean it's on the floor where you enter the ship sorry this is our first cruise. Thanks

It is not a bad location as you are between passenger decks. That means less noise. Deck 7 Empress deck is where you will get onboard the ship at.

Dave, I think you might be mixed up...

From the OP's signature it appears they are traveling aboard the Fascination and yes I think you're right about boarding on the Empress deck but it is deck 4 on Fascination. Deck 7 would be the Lido deck, unless they've turned the pool into the purser's desk and the bar into the shore excursion deck

As far as cabin M127 goes it looks good, a nice oceanview cabin mid-ship and between two banks of elevators. I'd say you did pretty well! Bon voyage

On the Fantasy, which is a similar class, the Empress is deck 7. The Riviera deck starts out as Deck 4. I know on the Conquest and larger ships, they did start at as Deck 1 for the Riviera.

i always stay on Main...it's a great deck. low enough to feel the gentle waves to put you in a knock out sleep, high enough to see perfectly and not too much noise. have a blast!
