No mom isn't coming...Dad can't raise enough cash to get Venice to take her off his hands. So he's stuck with her. That's OK NOLA is full of great musicians, we don't need her.

Can you believe that Kuki didn't know Basin Street Blues? It's a good thing he's coming to NOLA so we can help broaden his horizons into the world of trad jazz and all that good stuff. I think he needs a trip to Preservation Hall so he can experience it first hand.

I fear he may not be able to get his car out of the airport parking lot since it snowed so heavily in Chicago, if thats the case, I will have to drive up in the giant blue TuRD and get him and leave the car there until we can get it out. Pray he gets the car out, because I have been to Chicago once this week and that was enough. I hate the city in the winter time, and only mildly despise it in the summer... It's not the city really, its the traffic.
Either way I'll pop in and see if we can't come up with something creative, looks like you were doing pretty well yourself though.

Mel...the things we Louisiana folks will do for our Cruisemate Friends ..I'll work on it this weekend on Sunday after church since there is no football and I'm buying some new 8) 8) Smooth Jazz to listen too 8) 8) ...You know that will distract me from my real mission of catching up on all my back issues of Playboy Magazine so I will be able to spot the last 24 Playmates of the Month at the pool on my Playboy Jazz Cruise 2 weeks earlier
I love Beenie's suggestion that we have Kuki give us a XXXX nightshirt and we can wear it on deck on PJ night..You can wear a Saints/LSU inspired thong and I'll wear a Jazz/60's Motown inspired speedo underneath our nightshirt :: and since you just came from the Zulu Ball we can teach all our Cruisemates how to 2nd line around the deck to our "theme song"..I'll see if I can get Irma Thomas to record it for us on a CD prior to the cruise
