I was on Destiny two years ago. But I know the itinerary has changed since then.

Life is too short to let the ship of your dreams sail without you.

My wife and I were on the Destiny for our Honeymoon in May of 2005. We visited Dominica, St. Thomas, Barbados and Aruba. We loved every minute of it. I actually wanted to go back to the S. Caribbean but we thought the new itinerary (sp.) was a little too busy for us. But if that's your thing then go for it. You won't regret it. And although the Destiny is a little older ship it was still excellent.

Any cruise is a good cruise.

Cruised more times than I can remember.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.

Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.

We took the Southern Caribbean cruise from San Juan on Destiny this past Oct. and loved it. We had the old itinerary...St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia and Antigua. We enjoyed the Hispanic influence on the ship, the service was great, food was very good, and all of the ports were great. We flew to San Juan a day early and enjoyed the time we had there before the cruise.

Default Destiny.

We have not sailed on the Destiny but will get our chance next January.
We booked a balcony and will do the cruise the Imagination is doing now.
That is the five night doing Grand Turk, Half-Moon Cay and Nassua. It is
a nice idea to offer ships w/more balconies on these shorter cruises.
I hope this works out for Carnival?

We are looking forward to this cruise.....of course any cruise is great!

Take care;

I cruises the Destiny last September. Although in good shape I found it a bit outdated. The service was o.k., but the food excellent. There were some good shows too. All in all a good cruise for the price paid. But if was a higher price I would have taken the Adventure of the Seas visiting more or less the same ports that week.

My husband and I are taking that May 18 cruise for our 40th anniversary. We have never cruised before but friends are on the same cruise right now, so I should have comments for you in a week or so.
