We are starting to book our excursions for our cruise and was wondering if anyone knows about the parasailing? we wanted to book it in one of the prots but a friend of ours has informed us that on the cruise they were on carnival siscouraged them from doing the parasailing. Does anyone know if this is true or not?
Also we plan on wanting to drink without worrying about cost and wondered if anyone has ever bought the drink crads you can buy ahead of time so that they already have there drinks paid for.
We cant wait for our druise and look forward to any answers anyone can give us.
We have para sailed in Cozumel. We went to Paradise beach, and they called the beach next door, who came and picked us up on a boat.
I don't remember it being done in GC
The drink coupons are handy, but if you order a drink that is more than your coupon, you will have to pay the difference, or if you order something, that is less, they will not give you the difference back.
Now the soda cards are very good if you drink soda on a regular basis. We have teens who drink many, many soda, so it pays for us the have the soda card.
Just returned from the Legend and our group of 6 all brought our own alcohol on board, saving hundreds of dollars. Not familiar with parasailing, but we don't recommend the waverunner snorkeling tour thru Ebanks Watersports unless you're up for a drenched, open ocean, hang on for your life ride.
if want to buy the drink of the day (the cheapest drink by far) its like 3.95 if you ask for it in a REG glass isntead of the tacky plastic carnival glass for 6.99.
Really not a bad deal at all. The coupons cost more than that. Save cash and put it on your sail and sign before you sail so you dont have huge suprise bills at the end.
I dont know about parasailing, but i didtn see any in the caymans. The water is pretty shallow in a lot of areas, where cozumel is very deep. Might be a reason.
If your interested in seeing some sights or better yet, snorkling esp with the stingrays, i highly recommend CAPT MARVINS. They charged us like 65.00 to do 3 snorkles and have conch on board and a nice lunch at a yaht club, but we had weather so they took us on a short sightseeing tour to hell and the turtle farm, then when weather broke, they took us to swim with the stingrays and snorkle. We missed lunch and the conch snorkle, but they also refunded 50% of our money back! Carnival canceled most of thier excursions that day, and that bit since after 10am it was beautiful the rest of the day.
