PHOTO OF THE ELATION'S OFFICERS ON THE BRIDGE OUT OF CABO
I have been trying to post a pic of Captain Salvatore Messina and all the ship's officers busy at work steering the Elation out of Cabo San Lucas! It's my first time posting a picture as an attachment on CruiseMates, can I not attach a jpeg file directly from my computer? Do I necessarily have to post the pic online first?
Thanks for the quick reply Kuki,
No wonder it would not let me post the pic as a jpeg file attachment then! I tried resizing the pic down to a file as small as 90x80 pixels and 45KB in size, I knew that was small enough, yet it was still a no go.
What a pain in the backside it was creating a photo album, for some weird reason every time I tried to create a photo album and tried to upload this darn pic, nothing happened. Finally it did manage to take it this morning! JOY! Anyways, hope you guys like what you see. Captain Salvatore Messina is the gentleman in the middle of the pic commanding the Elation out of Cabo after executing a 45 degree turn to head her into open waters. A few moments before this pic was taken, auto-pilot had just been engaged! I will try to upload some more pics from time to time.
PS Edit: OK, looks like I finally got the hang of it!
It's nice seeing the officers didn't get lost at "The Office", or watching the girls at the Mango Deck or leaving their cares at Tabasco's and not falling off the "divorce" side of Land's End!!!
So how is it cruising to Cabo. We have been there for our time share for the last two years during March (taking a break this year). If you've ever wanted to go there, go. The only problem is that's when I fell in love with cruise ships. I'd be up at the crack of dawn watching ships, of all sizes, come in and then sitting on the sundeck at Villa Del Palmar admiring the ships in port all day long. The best was Royal's Vision of the Seas in 2007. The tides were so perfect that Vision couldn't have been more than 25 yards off the beach near The Office. When it was coming in, it just kept coming and coming and coming.
Since Elation is probably about the same size as Royal's Vision. How did it handle the Pacific?
