That ship looks so cool. I bet you it will cost a lot of money to get even an inside room. I wonder if they would out that lazy river on another smaller ship. lol.

Wow, there is no other word to explain it. I want to book a cruise on it now!!! I'd get a balcony of course. I wouldn't care where it was going as long as it was for seven days!!!!! The monorail (?!?!) looks interesting.

I will be glad to do the people mover on the deck, but you won't see Luanne that far up on the ship, hanging on by a rail.

Did you see the back of that thing? Are all of those rooms?

Okay, Before everyone decides what the latest fashion is on the monorail, let me tell you what I found.

The new Dream ship will look nothing like this. The video was put out as a concept design.

I guess we will have to go back to walking from one end of the ship to the other.

A couple of observations:

1. How lazy do you have to be to need a tram to run you around the ship. As it is, the average weight gain is 10 lbs. With no walking its going to go up to 15!! ha

2. Dirty things are going to happen in that grotto swimming pool.

3. The lazy river looked awesome but its never going to be that relaxing because there's going to be 300 people at a time trying to get in there!

I think this is an amazing ship. Carnival has really hit the nail on the head with the amount of activities and wow factor. I'll be sailing her!!

Does anyone know approx when in 2009 she is scheduled into service? And with that has anyone heard when reservations might be opening up?

I'm thinking ahead

What I am hearing is a 2009 building, and a 2010 release. No prices are available or where she will be ported, but there are already group cruises being formed, waiting for the announcement.

Remember****** THE VIEDO SHOWS A PROTO TYPE, NOT THE REAL DREAM!!!

I don't think the intent of the tram is to move people from point A to point B. This is similar in many ways to the Voyager observation wheel planned for Vegas. You ride in the pods, take in the views.

--I dunno bobbo.... That seems kind of redundant to me? Ya know.. since you can walk to any window or rail and see the same thing. But you may be right. Now if they had a roller coaster on the outside of the ship---I WOULD BE IMPRESSED!!!

While this presentation is obviously just showing the concept, if it is going ahead we can be assured that it is already well in the works.

Just the engineering and design work would take more than a year, followed by all the testing. They have to know it's going to float well before they begin construction.

Riding the monorail could be fun, looking on to all the "private" balconies
