Default How much soda is reasonable?

Carnival says you may bring a reasonable amount of soda on board. How much is reasonable for 4 people on a 6 day cruise? Also can soda be brought on board from a port such as Key West.

As long as a red semi trailer truck unit doesn't pull up at the pier for check in you should be fine

And yes, you can purchase more sodas in ports of call, and bring them back onboard with no problem.

Actually amounts of "what's reasonable" is a judgement call, limited I guess by how much room you have in your luggage. I'd say 2 or 3 12 packs would be no issue.

We always carry on two 12 pkgs (one regular and one diet) and then we pick up more in the ports as we need them.

We always carry them on. Sometimes security will ask us to open up the pilot bag they are in...but they are just making sure it isn't beer.

Not a problem!!

Don't forget, there is un-limited lemonaide, iced tea and fruit drinks during the day, so you don't have to drink as much soda and carry too much onboard. The iced tea isn't bad either.

Ya know - our first 2 cruises we didn't know we could bring pop and water on board. Not that we drink a lot of pop (soda), but would be nice to have a few cans in the room just in case. We love to have bottled water, so definitely will be packing some on this upcoming cruise - maybe even something a little stronger

On Principle I will not buy soda on board. I either bring my own or drink the free stuff.

I love Mtn Dew and the kids love flavored water. Neither can be brought on the ship. Last trip we packed a soft sided cooler with these items (about 24 total - family of four) and no issue. Found more at a port and no issue bringing on board.

Cheryl:
Something stronger?

If you carry that in a soft sided cooler and try to take it on board,I think you just might be stopped and it taken from you.

That's what I am hearing.

I don't want that to happen.
