Default Difference between 6A & 6D

I will be going on my second cruise with Carnival in less than 3 weeks (St. Patty's Day, leaving from New Orleans)
Conquest in 2004 and Fantasy in 2008.

When I originally booked with my travel agent, she sent me a letter stating that my Cabin was a category 6A, but after looking up my reservation on Carnival's website, I am booked in a 6D. From what I can tell on their website, the rooms look the same.

Can anyone tell me the difference? Just curious......going to have a great time no matter what.

Thanks

Hi Brenda: I don't know absolutely for sure, but I'd guess that the only difference is that the 6-D cabins are located on a higher deck than the 6-A cabins. Probably your cabin will be exactly the same, but closer to the Lido deck.

Hope you have a GREAT cruise,

Ken

A = Riveria deck ocean view, D is 4 decks up. Yep, closer to the pool and the buffet.
