Default Freedom on NYE

We just booked the Freedom on Dec 28th - Jan 3rd. This is our first Carnival Cruise. My wife and I have one room, and my 3 sons (20, 22 & 25) will be in another inside room (Cat 4c). On our last cruise on RCL we put 2 boys in one room and our oldest had his own room. The RCL rooms are only 122 sq ft as Carnivals are 185 sq ft. Will our sons be all right in the one room?

This is also our first cruise over a Holiday. Will the ship be crazy on New Years Eve? How about Ocho Rios on New Years Day?

The ship is decorated & lively, on NY Eve, a great place to be for the holiday.

We were in St Martin one year, and the Freanch side was closed, and the Dutch side, mostly open. I am guessing the shop owners have the choice to open or not. I would give the cruise line a call, if no one comes up with the answer, since they are there years after year...Or even email a tour company on the island. Happy Sails!

I think it will be crazy but you can find solitude if you want it.
