We were on the main deck on the Holiday a couple of weeks ago. M107 was our# and could feel a gentle rocking at night which was nice. didnt notice and vibration to speak of. Hope this helps some.

I was on the same cruise as Papa last week and also on Main deck, midship (just on the other side). Also no vibrations, smooth sailing.

It should be great! Go and enjoy!!!!!

The other good thing about the main deck on the Holiday is that it is the deck to get off the ship when you get back to Mobile. You wont have to lug your luggage up/down stairs or elevator.

The main is sounding nice....
one more concern - is my ocd kicking in or what?! - it describes cabin as 1 upper - is that a bunkbed??? i can't have bunkbeds...! i'm hoping it's a twin plus a bunk maybe?

We enjoyed main deck and we only ask for the middle of the ship. It is more stable. My favorite shore excursion was in Playa Del Carmen on the Beach.

Another really great thing about the main deck on the Holiday is that it is located between two staterooom decks. No noise from above or below!

Don't know about the bunk situation, I am sure someone else will be able to tell you.
Enjoy the Holiday!

Another Holiday cruiser (from Papa's cruise) says Main mid level is great. The upper thing might be a bunk bed ... check how many are booked into the room.

Don't worry ... if you are not in your assigned bed, they won't make you move!

Only 1A cabins have bunk beds. If it says it has one or two uppers, then it is a fold down bed from the wall. You still will have the two twin beds underneath.

We just got our room number E84 mid ship. I am hoping it is a good place as well.

E84 is two decks up and a little further forward than our room, but you should still be OK. If I recall it is right off the stairwell.

It has been my experience that the closer you get to lower decks and mid ship, the smoother the sailing should be. Can't swear to it, but it has worlked before on the smaller ships.

Enjoy!
