Renting a tuxedo on board ship

Hi!
Can someone tell me how to rent a tuxedo on board? Does it have to be done in advance or can you go to a shop once the cruise starts? Trying to not have to pack so much and my husband is interested in this option. We will be sailing on the Legend.
Thanks!

Must be done at least one week before sailing.

My husband rented a tux for formal night on the first day of our cruise. We picked it formal day and returned it the next day.

How much does a rental tux cost on board?

We rented one, in may, for my sons wedding. If my memory serves me correctly it was around $85.00. He was married on the second day and did not have to return it until the last night. If you rent one it would pay to check when it needs returned.

you must rent it no later than 1 week before sailing and go to the "gifts and services" on carnival.com site and there is a sizing form to print off. Get his correct measurements then call them at 1800-522-7648 and order your tux.

We sailed on the Carnival Ecstasy last December and when we were about to get dressed for formal night, we discovered that my husband had not put his tuxedo shirt in the bag. We rushed to the formal wear shop and rented a shirt for $15.00. We may have been lucky that they were not busy and had his size in stock, but we were very grateful that we were able to rent one at a moments notice. Just to be safe, I would rent it in advance.

I just sailed on the Conquest and during my second day I felt something just wasn't right. Yep, I forgot my trousers to my suit. This was on the first formal night and I had no problem renting. $85 for the week, includes two shirts. I had no problems at all.
Believe it or not, this was the only purchase that didn't automaticly add a gratuity.
PS,
made some great formal pics for my wife and myself, well worth it.

Tux Rentals

I've rented twice and will be doing it again for my cruise in May. Most tux rental shops will measure you for a nominal fee...$5.00 sometimes less.
Go online or call the cruiseline gift services number with your measurements and a credit card and your good to go.
No fuss no muss and more room in the suitcase. Tux two shirts and even shoes if you want. When I rented on Navigator of the Seas the tux as hanging in my closet the first night... on Carnival Destiny I had to pick it up a the formalwear shop.
It's definitely a service worth paying for.
Next tux rental May 2nd Carnival Spirit to Hawaii
Later

I bought one at a men's consignment shop in what appeared near perfect shape. Going to a local tux place and asking about an off-rental one is a second option. You can likely get it for what I see people are paying for a single rental. You still have to purchase a shirt, etc. Use the outfit twice and you're probably ahead of the game. A pair of plain well shined black shoes and you're done (instead of traditional 'tux' shoes)

You get to keep it for the week, right?
