Default Pride vs. Glory

I'm brand new to these boards and need some help. I am taking my daughter on a cruise next year to celebrate her sweet 16 but am finding it very difficult if not impossible to pick which ship is the best for us. We love the Pride's summer itinerary with stops to HMC, GT, St. Thomas & San Juan but we will be in Orlando prior to the trip so getting to the Miami airport might prove a bit difficult. The Glory sails to Nassau (we've been before & are not interested & it's only there till 2) St. Thomas and St. Maarten so that gives us like 3 and a half days on the ship. What if my daughter doesn't meet any teens??? So please tell me what ship should I pick???? What ship do you all like better? I already know the Prides itinerary is better but will we like the Glory better. I have sailed the Disney Wonder once 4 years ago and the Sensation last year. Thanks so much!!

They are fine ships and I have had the pleasure of sailing both. If it were my choice, I would go with the Pride. I just prefer the layout of the Spirit class ships much better than the Conquest class and I really did not care for the Glory's decor (color themes). Either way though, I don't think you can go wrong. I also agree that the Pride's itinerary is better - your daughter will likely enjoy the beach day at HMC.

I sailed the Glory to the Eastern Caribbean and I really enjoyed our aft cabin. The ports of Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Maarten were great but I didn't enjoy the 3 sea days with 2 straight back to Port Canaveral. I haven't sailed the Pride but I did sail her sister ship the Miracle, my DW says that the Miracle is her favorite ship. As to the itenerary, we sailed the Imagination this past August with ports in HMC, Grand Turk and Nassau..............bottom line is that I loved HMC and GT. We enjoyed it so much that we tried to book a group cruise that is same as your itenerary.............. no luck all groups were closed for the dates that we wanted to cruise. My answer to your question .........go with the Pride to those great islands.
