Darlene;
We have used the Mil. discount on our last 2 cruises, and we did not get anything else. We were already past guests so were invited already. It won't hurt to ask.
Enjoy your cruise, and thanks for your service to our country.
Gary

Darlene;
In that case he can just go with you. We took our DD & SIL with us to the past guest party, and it was no problem. They had not cruised before either. No one even checked our invite. This was in Jan. on the Ecstasy.
Hope this helps.

I too always book "Military", but have never noticed anything other than a better rate on the cruise. We're platinum anyway, so perhaps that is a factor, but I honestly don't think there are any other perks. I have noticed, and attended a "Vets" get together aboard ship from time to time. Those are usually a lot of fun, and I've met some really interesting people at those meetings.
