Default Question about shows schedule

My father, an experienced cruise passenger, told me that our dining room time , 6:15 pm is too late to catch the good vegas style shows. By the time we left the dining room they'll be over - I highly doubt it, but wanted to check with folks who have been on a recent carnival cruise. He's only been on RCC and NCL.

Does anyone know what time they usually run?

Don't they do productions twice? Once for the early dining room group, and once for the late group?

I've been on both Carnival and RCCI...They do the main shows twice so that each dinner seating can see them. After dinner, it's a good idea to slowly start heading to the theatre for a good seat...No huge rush though.

The shows on Carnival are absolutely done twice. No problems. We had an early seating and we had time, after dinner, to shop, play games, look on the internet, just walk and visit - all this, before the show began. But...yes, if you want an upfront seat, you might get there 20-30 minutes before the show is to begin.

only issue i had was with late seating you slowly go to the show. by the time the show is done you go to the disco you forget what time it was and miss the midnight buffet lol... but to see the show you will be fine... there are two shows... have fun!

Some nights on Carnival there will only be one big show...usually at 10:30. Seating time for dinner will not affect you making this show.
