Cabin Just Assigned....now I have a question?

:?:
We booked the least expensive, inside, guaranteed cabin on the Legend sailing on 4/27. They have assigned our room and it is on the main deck. has french doors and a railing. It has a lifeboat obscuring the view but surely this must be better than a "true" inside cabin. The cabin number is 4193. Can someone let me know what to expect? Or a picture would even be better!!

if you go to carnivals web site and click on the ship you are on
and then go the floor you are on it will show you .
I would say its better than being on a inside cabin :D
Price was right anyway.

have fun anyway. you really dont spend that much time
in your room and now if you are there you can be sitting
on your balcony view or no view better than looking at
four walls

QueenB;
Looks to me like you were upgraded to a 5A cabin. That is much better than the inside cabin IMHO. At least you can tell when it is daylight. I would take that anytime.
Enjoy your cruise LOL

There is a thread on here that was posted a while back that has several pictures of the obstructed view cabins. You might be able to find it and check the pictures out. Do a search for "obstructed view".

Our 17 and 20 year old girls stayed in a 5A on Miracle last year and they liked it very much. The view was very limited, but they said it was a huge step up from an inside stateroom.

Booking an Inside Guarantee and getting anything with an outside view is winning the upgrade lottery.

The fact that you have doors that can open to bring in the fresh air just makes it better.

Enjoy.

Put me in the hallway and I will be happy. As long as I am on the ship :D

Ya'll are the best. Thank you so much for the information. The pictures were great. At least now I know what to expect.

I'd even settle for sleeping on one of the Chaise Lounges. I had some freinds that took a ship from Israel to Greece (3 days I think) and slept on the deck.

We have sailed in both inside and outside cabins and for us we loved the balcony for the Alaska cruise but we have already sailed the caribean before so we booked another inside cabin for this cruise just because we are sailing with a large group and needed to make it as affordable for everyone as possible...... We never spend anytime in our room except for sleeping or showering anyway.
$2 days and conting we cant wait.
