We did an island your there, which took us to a beach, and up to the top of the island, where there is a gift shop, and if I remember right a restaurant. bring some singles, because they charged for the rest room:(

I think the nicest beach on Tortola is Cane Bay. If you have some time a trip to Virgin Gorda and The Baths is interesting. Other excursions to other BVI areas such as Jost Van Dyke and Anageda are not worth the time IMHO

We were there last year and just took a private tour over to Cane Garden Bay. (I think it was Cane Garden) When you get off the ship, at the end of the pier there will be several private taxi's. There were several cruise ship passangers standing out there also, so we just taked to a driver who took us to Cane Garden for several hours. I think it cost us $6.00 per person each way. There were restrooms, a snack bar, a little convience store, chair rentals and a couple of places to shop. There also were some hammocks you could use and picnic tables. Also, there is a little open air market very near the cruise ship port that has lots of souveniers and clothes for sale.
