Default Room Codes

Is there somewhere that has a list of the codes for rooms and what they mean. For example, I just read a post from someone with a (I think) 5A and was told it was an outside obtructed view. How did you know that?

Default Re: Room Codes

There's a standardized system within Carnival ships. Not all ships have each of these, but 1 usually means inside (often bunk beds); 4 means inside; 5 means outside/french doors; 6 means outside, 8 and 9 mean balcony, 11 and 12 mean suite. Some individual cabins may vary slightly within the category

Rimau, go to the Carnival website. Click on ships--example-- the Glory. Bring up deck plans. Pick a deck--example Riveria deck It shows cabin numbers, deck layout, etc. Some cabins will have a symbol on them--exp. a star--triangle, asterik etc. On the right it shows what these symbols mean.
You can pretty easily determine what's what by looking at the deck plans.

rimau;

Go to the link below, and I think it will be easier. This is what Ron was talking about.
Hope this helps.
