Default Sorry hope u don't mind me posting this

It is to do with P and O,

I don't know how many people over the pond go on the P and 0 site here but thought you might like to see new pictures of the fleet 'Ventura' incase anyone ever fancies a cruise on this ship from Southampton, England, UK

Hope u don't mind me posting.

Those are great pics. What a lovely ship. We're going on our first adventure to the other side of the pond this coming winter. Not on P and O yet but I figure that we should try out all the cruise lines, so we'll add this to our "dream list".

Cheers!

U are welcome,

Believe me cruising over here is great.

I'm 40 with two boys aged 14 and 11 and they love the fleet, more Aurora and Oceana.

Just as I am looking forward to going on Carnival Liberty next Aug.

I like Carnival well enough to stay put. I am going on the Splendor in November.

I would love to take a cruise across the pond. I have a friend in Southampton and it'd be a great way to get in a visit with her.

I would like to visit America but don't like flying, am thinking of doing a transatlantic cruise and staying in New York for a week...

Have you been to the UK before?

I don't post very often but read regularly. You'll gradually become more comfortable on here, the folks really are nice for the most part. It's hard on a message board to be sure of how things are received by an individual. When you are face to face you can guage facial expression and you can hear the tone, it's a lot harder with the written word. I reread everything in the post and didn't see anything at all offensive but I'm sure if someone took offense they'll see by your comments that it was unintentional. Hang in there, being new is hard : ) I've been here since 2004 and still am on the outside looking in most of the time ; )

Please don't feel uncomfortable. I have "lurked" a lot on these boards for years. Believe me, you and your posts are very welcome. Hopefully, you will manage a transatlantic crossing. I hope that you enjoy exploring New York as much, as we (my husband and I) enjoyed visiting London, and the rest of the British Isles! Welcome...please keep coming back!

This looks just like the Emerald Princess! If I recall, P&O is owned by Carnival Corp also, which would certainly account for the similarities!

I love the UK ! 8) I was posted in East Anglia ( county Suffolk) with the military. I travel all over England and into Scotland and Wales.
Someday I wish to travel back for a "holiday" but can't stand those transatlantic flights. I absolutely love history and the UK has more castles, cathedrals and historical sites than I could possibly visit in the 2 years that I was there.
