my husband and I, along with our two sons, aged 21 and 23 are going to be sailing on the Conquest for our first cruise in May. We are trying to find out just how many soft drinks and bottled water we are allowed to bring on board with us? Not worried about alcohol, just sodas and water.

My husband doesn't drink Coke so he always brings a 12 pack of pepsi on our 7 day cruises, we've never had a problem. I've recently become completely addicted to Propel flavored water and on our cruise in January I took 12 bottles, we had no problems at all. I personally buy the soda on the ship because I can't be bothered to lug it around and worry about it exploding in my luggage to save a dollar here and there. But these dollars add up so I understand those folks that do lug it from point A to B. For the most part I don't think they'll give you a hard time as long as the amounts are within reason.
They say you can bring a reasonable amount. We always take a 12 pack of each but with 4 people, I would bring one or two of those 24 pack cubes. They fit nicely in the small carry on rolling suitcase. Years ago we brought 3 cases of soda for the 5 of us using a luggage carrier with no problems.
