Irons - No. Steamers - Yes?
Garment steamers are a-okay to bring? Right? I know that irons are a no no.

That is correct.

Yes, the travel steamers are okay. There are irons in the laundrys.
As I have read on these boards...wrinkle release by Downey is very good. I have some and I tried it. It really works :!: Darlene |
Darlene, I agree, the Downy Wrinkle Release works great. On our first cruise, we used the iron in the laundry room on the ship and there was a burr on the plate of the iron which created a snag right across the front of my beautiful jacket...it was so bad, I couldn't wear it. So, be careful when using the irons provided by the cruise line.

thank you so much for the information. I will let the others in my group to look for that if they use the iron. Darlene |
I've used the dryers to freshen up my clothes as well. I usually throw in a wet wash cloth and a dryer sheet for one cycle and it will get the packing wrinkles out of knits nice and quick.

You can always just hang it in the bathroom, and turn the shower on hot and, shut the door for a while.. I use the wet towel, tossed in with dry clothes, to refresh things at home, all the time;)
